As a lot of you obsessive writers will probably know, tomorrow is the closing date for the Guardian’s annual short story competition.
This year the theme is ‘Journeys’ and if successful will be published in the Summer Fiction Special.
The maximum word limit is 2,000 words and seen as it’s quite late in the day, would need to be sent to short.story@guardian.co.uk in the body of the email.
So if you’re bored this rainy Sunday evening, why not give it a go!
