Holiday Reading

May 17, 2013

I’ve just started to read the brilliant Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. It’s no wonder there is a such a buzz about this book, I don’t think an opening has ever grabbed me so fast! If you haven’t already got this, go out and buy or download it immediately!

Even the introductory quote gave me shivers….

“Love is the world’s infinite mutability; lies, hatred, murder even, are all knit up in it; it is the inevitable blossoming of its opposites, a magnificent rose smelling faintly of blood.”
– Tony Kushner, The Illusion
